KNX
Is the global standard (ISO/IEC14543, CENELEC EN50090, CEN13321) which describes how products in the home and building automation (e.g. sensor and actuator) communicate with each other.
This communication protocol is used in building automation and home automation.
KNX Association certifies the products according to this standard so that products from different manufacturers can be used together in one installation.
Benefits of KNX.
The software 'ETS' (Engineering Tool Software) is used for programming the KNX installation.
All KNX components, often from different brands, are included and configured in this software.
