Description

This shortened 1-day KNX training is the first training that one must follow to become a KNX Partner and to be included in the KNX Partner list on the KNX website.

During this training, the participants learn how to design and commission electrical installations equipped with a KNX bus system.

  • This shortened course is intended for self-taught students, for example MBO students, or who have completed an online Basic Course and now want to obtain a partner certificate.
  • The following topics will be discussed during the KNX shortened Basic Course:
    • ETS6 Professional
    • Theoretical exam: 1 hour, 30 minutes, minus 60% result.
    • Practical exam: 1 hour, 30 minutes, minimum 60% result.

Lesson days:

  • The training lasts 1 day (from 09.00:17.00 AM to XNUMX:XNUMX PM).
  • The 2 exams take place on this day.
  • The group size is a maximum of 6 people.

For who is it?

  • The training is intended for (future) programmers, project leaders, work planners and E-technicians.
  •  Previous training or solid experience with KNX is required to participate in this course!
  • Also for students who have participated in an MBO4 trajectory with the teaching materials from the Learningbox!
  • What Do You Need?

You must:

  • Get along with a PC (Windows, MAC is not supported!)
  • To have knowledge of electrical circuits, single-pole, switch, cross, dimming, blinds, etc.
  • Bring your own laptop with the Windows operating system version 7 or higher and with at least 1 free USB connection for the programming interface.

Note:

  • Before the start of the course, you are expected to have the latest version of ETS installed on your laptop!

  • The course includes study materials, coffee/tea and lunch. 
  • All prices mentioned are exclusive of VAT.

Exam.

  • Theoretical exam: 1 hour, 30 minutes, minus 60% result.
  • Practical exam: 1 hour, 30 minutes, minimum 60% result.

If both exams are completed with a positive result, the participant will receive a KNX partner certificate.
